Well, new to me. When I heard the 6545 was going out of production, I raced to my dealer to try to snag one, but to no avail. I also missed a red on at an out of state dealer, but alas I found one. Love it! I actually wanted it for the 65 side, and was considering the 45 side a bonus, but after rehearsal today, I think I've got it backwards. The 45 side breathes and has a great feel. It crunches up nice at volume reminecent of the Who. The 65 is nice too, but a big more focused, bassy, and less open. I'm playin through a stock z Best. I'm thinking of doing some tube twealing. Looks like GT 12AX7Cs in there now, JJ EL34s, and a SS rectifier. Any suggestions on where to start?
