I've been fiddling here with my 6545 and the RC booster. Dang, you can really get the KT-45 side a blowing with a bit of boost. And not especially crunchy either - pretty clean but lots of sustain and the pedal is very transparent - sounds like the amp doing all the work. I have a special set of gigs coming up on the 8th in which I need to have gear in two places at once. So I'm going to haul out my THD 4x12 for the 6545 and set that up one place, and my Flexi in the other (unless my Z 2x12 comes - then the Stingray may make its first appearance). Anyway, I think the 6545 sounds absolutely awesome with the RC booster. I think I'm going to run it with the RC off for rhythm, and click it on for clean solos. On the other hand, I think I need to see what it does with the RC on all the time, but the guitar volume rolled back... yeah! That's the ticket! More testing!
