Have any of you Maz GT owners put delay in front of it?
I have an M9 i use for all my time based stuff, im just curious.
The amp has really been catching my attention lately
I know it has a hot preamp section...
Thanks! Have a great weekend!

Yep, I use a delay w/ my GT. I'll use it sometimes for solos (not too often), and I use it a lot for our U2 and Police covers that require it. My GT, w/ the guitar's volume rolled back, gives some pretty great clean sounds. I can get pretty much spot-on Bad/Where the Streets Have No Name/Every Breath You Take type sounds w/ my Line 6 and/or Boss delays through the GT. And of course the GT does dirt sounds pretty well too... ;D

Really??
That's awesome!!
Where do you typically run your volume?
My man amp is a 65 London and I usually run the volume at about 3 o'clock on the voxy side with a humbucker guitar and thats about the perfect crunch for me
What type of pickups do you typically use?

I'll set the Volume between Noon and 2:00. Tone is usually around Noon. If I'm going for primarily clean delay repeats (Every Breath You Take), I'll use my stock American Fender Strat. Volume on the guitar is between 5 and 7 (not o'clock). Anywhere between 10:00 and 2:00 (although 2:00 is getting pretty hot) will give you decent clean w/ the guitar volume rolled back on single coil pups. If I'm using my PRS w/ Dragons or my Charvell So-Cal w/ Dimarzios, it will be a "hairy" clean. Both my Guild Bluesbirds clean up pretty good. One has Duncan '59s and the other had Duncan P90s. There's a guy on here, Jimmysmith, that posted a bunch of GT clips on the Video section. I wouldn't call what he does "clean," but it's not the raging distortion monster label that the GT seems to get tagged with. It's more of a "hairy" blues sound. My GT can get significantly cleaner by rolling back the volume knob on the guitar (Jimmy's may, too; I just haven't heard him play it that way). I think the GT takes pedals well. I use mostly delay, modulation, and wha w/ the GT. I'll occasionally step on my BB+ for solo work w/ single coils. The GT doesn't need much to boost it. It's already pretty hot. There's no fx loop, so everything goes into the front.
