they had an air brake on it, so i asked the guy to just plug in and play something so i could move the tone knob around and see what that does, sort of bright on the left and to the right cut or more bassy,, pretty nice really, but he said "we have to demo it with the air brake cause its so loud, thats probably why it hasnt sold cause its too loud. so i said "well, i have to know what it will do without the airbrake, so, we turned it off for a minute and he hit a chord with the volume at noon,, incredible,, i had no idea it was that loud,, man if i played outdoors on a stage all the time this would be THE amp,, i had no idea it was this loud,, i am on the fence between one of these (with my airbrake i have) or a remedy,,, sheesh what a monster amp,,,

Yep, she's loud... But w/ the Air Brake, I find it to be more versatile than an amp w/ a Master Volume.

It's not a bedroom amp but if your playing with band it sits nicely in the mix. I usually run my volume at 9:00 with an airbrake/brakelite set at 2 clicks in and work the guitar volume. I use inefficient speakers which helps also tame the volume. I'm using 2 50w webers, a ceramic and alnico. The amp really shines through a Z Best (which is a loud speaker but sounds excellent), and is what I used for the first live with a band GT experience. I was playing along side Curt who was playing a Remedy and it was louder than the Maz GT.
For Rockin tones and tunes the GT is hard to beat.
