I've got a Maz 18Jr NR that is great! I do need to tame it a bit with an attenuator. What are the differences between the lite and Air Brake? From what I can tell:
The AB is standalone Lite must be mounted
AB is almost twice as much
AB can be used on many amps. I do own a few amps.
I play in the basement but being able to get to bedroom levels would be a nice feature.
What do you guys think?

Brake Lite and MAZ go great together. If you don't want to attach the BL to your amp "permanently" you can mount it to a board. You may need a speaker extension cable to connect. I simply stick the BL on top of the MAZ, use the MAZ's handle to hold the BL in place and connect it up. Haven't had any problems, but I would advise keeping track of how warm things get to prevent any damage to the tolex on the amp.
The BL is rated for up to 45 watts amp output. That may be the deciding factor. If you have other amps with output power greater than 45 watts, the Airbrake may be preferable. If your amps are within the limit, the BL is great. I've used it on the MAZ, a Remedy and a Monza.

Ok, I'm not sure if this is a silly question or not, but I'm planning on getting a Maz 18 1x12 combo, and occasionally hooking it up to a 1x12 extension cab for bigger gigs. Would that pose any problems with the brake lite?

Would that pose any problems with the brake lite? No, should be fine. Assuming both speakers (ext cab and combo) are 8 ohms, you'd just move the BL's "to amp" plug over to the MAZ's 4 ohm output jack. Acquire or build a suitable parallel speaker cable and plug that into the BL and the speakers. Here's the type of cable you'd need procablesnsound.com/items/guitar-cables/power-y-adapter-70002-detail.htmHope this helps.

That cable has one female end on it...
Don't we need one with 3 male ends?

That cable has one female end on it... Don't we need one with 3 male ends? burstbuckerpro: I replied to rambis7012, who asked about a combo plus extension cab. The female jack is for the 1/4" plug that's wired up to the combo's speaker(s). If it's a head to 2 ext cabs, then you're correct: 3 male ends are needed. Mike
