I bet if you buy a whole pallet of them they'll paint them any color you want.

I just happened to notice the colour difference while I investigating something else that doesn't seem to compute with me I'm thinking about ordering the cab with the Fang so that I can use it with my Night Train and my Tiny Terror heads as well as the Ghia & Monza. However, Humbucker sells the 110 cab at $399 (stock with Rajin' Cajun' - $70 value) Humbucker sells the upgraded cab at $538 (Red Fang - $150 value) However, the difference in the price of the cabs is about $140. It's better to order the stock cab and get an extra Red Fang, swap it with the Rajin' Cajun' and keep that speaker for some other purpose. Why such a big difference in the upgrade price for the cab....it's almost like you are getting no credit for the stock speaker not being in the cab?? Just curious, that's all? Keith

Keith First off Keith we selected the Ram Rod 10 over the RC, sounded much better with a variety of amps. Second were can you buy a 2010 10" Red Fang for $150.00. I pay $135.76 per RF when I purchase 250 at a time. Eminence had a HUGE price increase in January, only time will tell if they made the right decision or not. That's right fellows $34,000.00 worth of RF's FOP Kentucky. Z

That's right fellows $34,000.00 worth of RF's FOP Kentucky. Z Thanks Doc I took the Rajin' Cajin' reference from here..I guess it got changed along the way Yes we did. We had a huge Blind Taste Test . The test included the Clestion Gold, a couple of Jensens, a few Eminence, and a few stock Celestion 10's. Ten speakers in all and the Red Fang 10" did the best overall. We did pick a special designed 10" alnico low wattage 10 for the Mini combo, and the Ragin' Cajin' as the stock speaker for the new 10" extension cab, which can double as a 10" combo cab. Z Didn't realize there was a price increase in January...I was taking the prices from online vendors.. www.zzounds.com/item--EMNRF10www.americanmusical.com/Item--i-EMI-RF10But this site shows the increased cost www.loudspeakersplus.com/product.asp?specific=1903That explains it Maybe they'll start painting the speaker blue from here on out too ;D ;D ;D Keith

Actually found a dealer here in Canada selling new 10" Red Fangs for $150 CAD ;D (His prices are not scheduled to go up until Monday).
So, tomorrow I'll order the 110 cab with the stock speaker and pull that out for a kit I'm planning to build and put the Red Fang in the Z 110.
I needed to buy a 10" speaker anyway, so I'll buy the Fang instead of the other.
Basically like getting the stock speaker free ;D

The Curse of the Z! Now I want a Monza, but the Ghia is VERY appealing! Then again, the Galaxie has a unique, and beguiling, attraction! Too many choices - not enough bucks! What a dilemma though, eh??? Peter ;D
