I recently acquired a Mazerati - and I'm liking it very much. Some folks on this forum have made the point that the really great sounding recorded guitars are pretty clean, and I think they make a very valid point. The older I get, the cleaner I want to play - that's not to say Roland-solid-state-amp-clean - but just a little bit of breakup goes a long way. The Mazerati is delivering what I'm seeking. It's a 2005 model, so I took it to the local Z amp tech for a re-tube. They had a whole committee work on it: ;D While I was there, I spied on Pete who was building a Monza: Anywho, I'm looking forward to more playing time with my Mazerati. kc
