Hmm....
Now I have to decide.... do I want to keep the Maz Jr NR and get the tone modification.... or sell/trade to get the Monza... I'd like more gain.. and this little beastie has it.... I'd be looking at the 1x12..

I put my name on a list at Humbucker Music a few weeks ago. I'm ordering the head and I'll run it through a 2x10 cab.... should be sweet.

I can't get any dealers to call or email me back. Try giving Humbucker Music a call today. The number is on there home page. Good luck, it would be nice to get a 1st run of the amp.

Anything from those who know rergarding how the 1-10 combo compares to the 1-12 combo in THIS AMP would be helpful. It has been said that the 1-10 sounds bigger than what one would normally associate with a 1-10.

I'd be looking at the 1x12.. Same apparent dilemma here, but then I thought about it, and the Fender Blues Junior, Marshall AVT 50 and Line6 Flextone are up for sale as we speak. I will be a Z Man across the board just as soon as the Monza lands in the UK ;D (oh, and I'm getting the Maz18 mod done at the same time too:-))

I sold my Maz Jr to fund my Remedy head and 1X12 convertible cab with a Celestion Gold, but I definately not selling the Remedy.
Hmmm...........................I guess I could always get the Monza head!

The MAZ Mod is done by DR. Z and removes the tone stack from the circuit, giving the amp considerably more gain and volume as well. There is a clip done by Frankee Starr that demonstrates this handilly.

I am psyched Those guys never emailed me or called me back. AND, they're not the only ones either! I'll tell you now, it just simply helps to have a local dealer on these types of items. When you have someone who handles your needs all the time, they respond quickly because they know you're a buyer. In my messages I offered to pre-pay the total amount. I think I'm simply an out-of-towner to these dealers, and I don't blame them at all - don't get me wrong - they deal with who they know and I definitely understand. So, I think I'll just consider this a sign of sorts and pass on the Monza. I will be expecting all of my Z-Family to post nice clips playing through their Monza for me to enjoy! ;D

Works every time I've tried it.
