DR Z Asked me to do a demo of using both the new small Z28 combo and the Monza side by side, so you could hear how they work together.....channel switching without pedals. Of course the Z28 handles the cleans, and the MONZA does the dirty . On the first part there is a Z-verb on the Z28 and a TC vintage delay and Mr. springy reverb on the Monza... The second have is pure and natural, just the two amps "naked" Hope you like it. Frankie "Starrman" Starr

Always A++ Frankie.
Thanks for the demo, with those two amps a player could go a long way. From mellow Jazzy tones to very hard rockin', and all tones in between.

Watched the clip a few more times and it kills me when the Monza comes in at :32. That's some serious tone Frankie. I'm not sure how long I can hold out.

How are you doing channel switching between amps by using the toggle switch on the guitar? Is it selecting different Pick-ups? I would thing A/B'ing the amps would mean playing through one and then the other - I am new at this - how did you set up the amps to do this.? I did not see a switcher box. What equipment would I need to A/B an RX/ES and a Monza? Can it be done with a Nashiville B Bender Tele?

I was using a whirlwind AB box to switch amps. I think what you saw was me switching the pickup selector and the A/B box at the same time.....nothing fancy. The whirlwind is a pretty nice A/B box for the money. They last forever ! There are cheaper ones out there too.....hope this helps. Frankie

It does...I will Google it now.
OK - found it. Street price around $100. No wonder i was confused...it is a foot switcb - yea, I saw you toggle the switch on the guitar and wondered, how did that happen?
