Just curious on what types of guitars everyone is using with their EZG50's. What do you like best, single or humbucker? I'm currently using Fender strats and teles through the amp and loving both. I do have a Keef tele with a humbucker in the neck and that sounds great too. I also own a Gibson 336 but tend to really like the single coil sound through the EZG. If I would have to pick one guitar it would be a telecaster with a strat in close second. Now what are your guys thoughts? :

I play Strats through my EZG.
2008 Fender 62 Hot Rod Strat and an american standard. PERFECTION
Tried my Heritage H535. its okay i guess. too much bass.
Verdict: singles are better.

I like my strat through the EZG the best, but my Gibson ES 335 is a close second. If I was doing a blues gig I'd definately take the 335 and my EZG.
I like it with both, the single coils may have edged out the buckers by just a hair.

Loving the Tele's... Strats are mighty fine too.
Been mainly a strat guy for many years and I've been wanting to use a Tele more... I've wanted to get a fatter sound out of a Tele playing mostly blues style music and NOT going for as much twang... and the EZG has just been nailing it. ;D

I know where you can get a nice tele with stat pickup configuration. And best of all, IT"S PANK! ;D You and Shannon can have matching guitars. Go on Jay, you know you want too! ;D ;D

First all my guitars sound good through this amp, but the best sounding guitar has to be my ES-359 Gibson. I posted I thread here in this forum with a reggae song I did with that guitar and amp.

I am liking single coil guitars through the EZG right now. My jazzmaster and my teles all sound great and I have more options in regard to headroom with these guitars.

Strat with Suhr FL singles and PRS Singlecut Trem with PRS 6's. I prefer the PRS but both sound killer.

+1 for the single coils, but depending on the 'bucker and what tone your going for an HB can be mighty nice indeed......The EZG makes anything sound good though!!

I played mine this past weekend with my new to me Epi Dot Deluxe...Holy smokes! I played 75% of the weekend with just that guitar and the EZG. Loved it! Bluesy/jazzy numbers were so sweet and the rock stuff was crunchy and warm. Believe it or not she handles modern country quite well...

have had the pleasure this past week of playing my newly aquired 1966 fender mustang through my EZG.....definitely an awesome combination.....the lower output of the old pickups create some great jazzy and RnB chordings and the Evan is faithful to let the almost 44 y.o. old wood shine through in the tone with a warmth and brilliance......
