I had my first gig w/ the new (to me) SRZ-65LE. ;D I ran it in stereo w/ my Mazerati GT, both through 2X12 cabinets. The SRZ was through two Weber Greenback type speaks. The GT had it's Volume at around noon, Air Braked to 3. The SRZ's Gain was dimed, Volume at around 10:30, which had them about equal volume-wise. To keep them from blowing the heads off innocent by-standers and groupies, I set up a Plexi baffle in front of the cabs. Everything was miced and run through the PA. The stage was a little tight (w/ all that Z goodness behind me ), and it allowed me to get some great feedback and sustain when desired. The SRZ is a crunchy growly beast of a monster! And even w/ all that crunchiness, I was able to get some decent "cleanish" sounds rolling back on the guit's volume knob (even w/ the disparity mentioned in the "ask the Experts" section). The SRZ and the GT really complement each-other in a stereo rig. The GT is midrange heavy, and the SRZ fills in the upper and lower frequencies well. After running both together for a month or so, you really notice losing the spread when you shut one down. They provide a thick FAT TONE together. I'm digging this SRZ!

That would be one loud rig. I wish I had a GT so I could try it.

I may end up running my SRZ in Stereo with either an EL84 or maybe even a 6L6 set up! The Srz is a hard one to beat in any given situation cause the master and the gain can change it from a raging Gain Monster to a sweet sting singing the blues type tone! Its a WONDERFUL AMP! Rich , You may just couple that Bad Boy with that RX Jr!!! PURE BRITISH!!! HEAVEN!!!
