I recorded this version of Darlin' Hometown by John Prine for the November edition of the HC Virtual Open Mic. There are several tracks - bass, acoustic guitar, vocals, mandolin, chest organ, etc... - but they are all first takes, so this qualifies as a VOM1T. I made a video with pictures of *my* hometown to make this wonderful song my own Used my Ovation Elite T guitar & Kentucky KM-675 mandolin. bit.ly/3YSB4i

Thanks! I love John Prine as well. He and Guy Clark have got to be my two favorite song writers of all times. I saw Prine live last year, I hope he comes back this year.

Not bad mojo. God I love John Prine. Z Ditto that. Fantastic songwriter of the old school. Bonnie Raitt's version of Angel From Montgomery brings tears to my eyes.
