Can anyone shed some light on the Dr's serial number scheme? I have see some reference to the letters indicating the year but haven't seen anything definite.

I have this note that I grabbed from some posting somewhere. It's been in my PDA forever. I think it's clearly attributable to Mike Zaite:
Dr. Z Serial Codes A 1990 B 1991 C 1992 D 1993 E 1994 F 1995 G 1996 H 1997 I 1998 J 1999 K 2000 L 2001 M 2002 N 2003 O 2004 P 2005
Here's a little bit of info for you guys. I started to serialize amps in 1990. I used the letter A to signify 1990, so A - XXXX would be an amp built in 1990. P - XXXXX would be an amp built in 2005.
