I don't really know what to say right now. ;D This is the best pedal I've ever had the chance to play (let alone own now!) I have been playing the KT for a little over a year now, and still blown away by it every time I plug in. My big problem however has been finding a good OD pedal to compliment the characteristics of the amp. . . I went through a number of pedals including the OCD, BB, and Tonesmuggler, but couldn't bond with any of them. The Tim, right out of the box, was magic. Just thought I would let everyone know. KT + Tim = ;D

Please elaborate if you could. How does it compliment the 45? Thanks.

I would say it compliments the KT so well because it doesn't sound like a pedal. The KT has so much definition and clarity, it is easy to tell when a pedal isn't very transparent. The Tim sounds like I've turned the knobs on the amp up to get more hair. . . Just at a more realistic volume level I had an Airbrake for a while, but didn't really like it with the KT. It took away the life of the amp IMO. I would personally run the volume on the amp at 8 o'clock before hooking up an airbrake. The Tim can do anything from a clean boost, mild OD, to a pretty crunchy sound (with the Boost kicked in), all without taking away from the feel of your "base" sound. The thing that attracted me so much to the KT was it's unbelievable ability to sound like what you plug into it. It is the best direct representation of your guitar. The Tim just adds to the clarity and definition that the KT has started.
troutstrat... I hope this answers your question. If not let me know and I can try to elaborate a little more. Thanks

Thanks to both of you. I may have to give that pedal a try.

My fav overdrive (the most amplike I've heard) is the KOT. But then again, I sold that too. I guess you may feel the same; Z amps don't need od when you can crank em. Or with an AIRBRAKE!

I had the airbrake for about a year. While it did exactly what it is described to do, it changed the feel of the amp. That's really important to me. Especially with the KT. It took away it's punchiness. Just my opinion though. I do think it is a very very useful piece of equiptment though.
