I searched for Master Volume Mod all over the Galaxie area and can't find info on how to get it done. People have only replied with suggestions of a mod. Anyone know how to get this mod? Should I PM DRZ?
First, will it change the tone of the amp in any way? If so, is it bad or better.
Also, I don't want to lose my presence control. Drilling a new hole is fine with me.
My Airbrake just can't bring her down enough at home.
Thanks.

You have to send it to the shop. Currently, Doc is "hardwiring" the presence at about noon, and replacing it with the channel 2 master volume. $150 As for changing the tone....unless you set your presence control at noon all the time, well..... A waaaaay coo mod. I want it. But I want my "presence" too.

I'm actually no longer interested in a MV mod for the Gal. I like it! Seperate eq for either channel? Naaaaaa! It's fun turning around and tweaking some knobs.

I'd recommend just using an attenuator. You'll still have full use of the Presence control, and be able to use the attenuator with other amps. YMMV. Although I thought the idea on the MV was that its only on channel 2 to be able to sync it better with channel 1, for switching...... Keith
