While Brad Paisley was recording his currant CD he called me and requested I build him a Ver 1 Mazerati, because he couldn't seem to find his. Well he must have forgotten that on Sept 11 2001 he canceled his Ohio show and drove up to my shop, where I happened to modify his early Mazerati to what is now called a Ver 2. Bigger Output Tranny and a couple of other changes that his ear liked, now no more early Ver 1.
So I found the old parts and built him a older style Mazerati and he loved it.
Brad used that amp and only that amp with a delay pedal to record the song " Catch All The Fish" .
So if you want to hear a Maz Ver 1, give that song a listen.

That's great tele tone up front and center. Nice. Thanks for the tip Doc. I see a wave of Maz version 1 seekers on the horizon. What a great tune and player, Brad is on top of his game.

Sounds very "Mud On The Tires"-ish.
Absolutely wonderful.

This question probably has been asked and answered before... How do the sounds of the series 1 Mazerati and the Carmen Ghia compare? I've got to keep the volume reasonably low on stage, so difference in volume isn't the issue for me.
The sound Brad gets with the Mazerati is great, but I guess he sounds great on any (Dr. Z) amp. ;D Maybe we could ask him to do a side by side comparison between the earlier and later model Mazerati...

Oh if only the doc would put Mazerati V1 back in production. How nice it must be to have so many amps you forget where you leave them and don't notice till this long after.
