Have I totaly lost my mind?
Do I really need a EZG-50?
Ever sense I got this Grosh RC-T I have been wanting my clean Swart tone super loud. Swart's 30 watter is like $2500 and that is not gonna happen. I just watched the EZG video again and that sound pretty good to me. Ok like damn F'ing good!!! Like that is what I need.
I'm like GAS'ing like crazy over here and I'm broke.

Hi, I have been lurking here for a while and your post made me laugh so i thought I would jump in for the first time.
I have a EZG due to arrive very soon. I also ordered the 4x10 and a 1x12 (G12-65) my first Dr.Z gear.
Reguarding the Swart SST: I have one and its my favorite amp but its sometimes not loud or clean enough so the ezg is going to cover that ground for me, I can't wait for it to arrive.

If you are looking for someone to talk you out of spending a large amount of money on some gear that you probably don't really need, may I suggest talking to your wife/girlfriend?
Because we are all gonna tell you to go for it!

No I was really looking for more people to tell me:
[glow=blue,2,300] yeah, Dave your Swarts are sick home and low volume situation amps, but your gonna be blown away when you plug into the EZG-50 with that new ultra wonderful Grosh you just bought.[/glow]

Hey Dave, your Swarts are sick home and low volume amps but to get all the special nuances and harmonic goodness out of that spectacular Grosh you need to get some "Horsepower" behind it! ;D I believe you will undoubtedly be blown away with how good that guitar and the EZG will sound.
just helping out! ;D

Have I totaly lost my mind? Do I really need a EZG-50? No and yes. Well, I think we're all a little "off" around here, but that amp is amazing. Sell some plasma or a liver or something. You'll figure it out.

Try a 60's vox ac50 maybe? I have an ezg and though I love the sound on neck pickups, in other positions it sounds too mid-heavy for me. I've since bought a mid-60's ac50 which is very loud and clean and sounds fantastic- it's what I'd call an "honest sound", open and not leaning towards particular frequencies. They're also pretty under-rated compared to ac30's so you can get 'em quite cheap.

For what it's worth I have some better advice, try a KT45 and let me know what you think.

Groover, While I'm sure the KT45 is great I'm looking for what I have in my Swart's but louder. I know the EZG is a sort BF style and the Swart is a sort of Tweed thing, but it's the Fender cleans with reverb I'm after.
I have the perfect two amp set up for low volume use with the Swarts. I think the EZG and Remedy set up for real band work would be unstopable. Wonder if they are gonna make a Remedy combo?
