Anybody tried this?
Just wondered if the feet would fit solidly on top of the vertical Z-Best and how the overhang looked. Can't find any pics.

I only tried the EZG through the Zbest on day 1 (not upright) and then its been permanently placed on top of the 4x10.
I'll try this out for you today though and let you know how it works out.

Here is the one that I played through at Zfest in June. It does hang over the edge...but it sounds glorious!

Alright. I'll admit I was pessimistic about this being a good idea...but: The EZG does fit snug on top of the ZBest...barely. All the rubber feet of the head will sit on the cab turned this way. Spacing...they do not 100% sit though About 25%-50% of the rubber feet do hang off the side. I pushed it around some and it seemed sturdy enough where if that is what I really wanted to do, I would be ok with it live..IF it was on a good flat surface with no wobble. Cosmetically, if you care about that...it did look a little "odd". I guess we are all programed to seeing those matching heads/cabs since we were barely old enough to hold a guitar. This creates a slight "T" look asthetically. I think this could be overcome by simply openning up the EZG to a maxed pre and post anywhere from 12:00 on. The sound is so glorious they wont notice the funny looking shape.
