Does anyone know if this unit is true-bypass? I know it comes with a foot-switch to engage the effect and disengage the effect...so when it's not "on" does it effect the signal? or bypassed?
I'm waiting for mine Z-Verb and should be getting it in the next week or so. A friend of mine was asked me this question and I wasn't sure. I figured this was the place to find out.
Thanks!
Doug

Doug It's buffered. But much less tone degradation than it's Fender counter part.

Mine colors the tone of my amp much less than an original '64 Fender tank I used to have. I'm actually running the Zverb with the tone control completely dialed down to zero and find that there's barely any difference between the tone plugged in straight from the guitar to the amp and routed through the Zverb. Nice, actually - the vintage Fender units added a noticeable amount of gain and treble to my ears but the Zverb doesn't do either as far as I can tell.

I can't tell a difference with mine, and it sounds so good when it's on.
