Hi everyone this is my first post, I more often than not just lurk, but I gotta start ask'n some questions since I got my eye on the RXES and the 6545. Dr. Z mentioned in an old post that you can plug into the low input of a MAZjr with your guitar, and plug a footswitch into the high input to toggle between the two. If it is possible to do this with the RXes, with the overdose involved that would give you 4 different tones out of one single channel amp! Or if thats not possible, could you use an a/b box to switch inputs? I know on some amps like the Univalve plugging into one bypasses the other..... wasnt sure if that was the case with the RXES? Thanks

Hey Bane, In that post that you mentioned, the good Doc said to use a "shorting" footswitch. Does anyone know what that is and where to get one? It would be very cool to use with my Maz SR.

I see, I just re-read that post. The Doc also mentioned it would pop like hell, so maybe a no go?
Anyone else care to chime in.... ?

Aren't the Mesa Boogie single-button footswitches the shorting kind? (You know, the ones that use a standard guitar cable a la Mark II, III.)
