The great thing about the Jr. is the built in overdose. I'm not a big fan of the over-sized foot switch that comes with the amp. It just takes up a lot of room. So I figured I could get that thing down into a smaller box with a removable cable. This just makes things easier for my playing situation. So here's what I came up with. It's a Hammond 1590LB box with a Dunlop SPST swith (the kind you find in a wha pedal). Works great! I almost etched a Z on it, but was to impatient. I may do another one in the future.

Nice! I was mulling around attempting the same thing myself, except doing a box with two switches and two sockets: one for the overdose and once to plug into the low input (w/ the guitar in the Hi) to do the 'Maz' switching trick on the fly. Now when someone looks at your pedalboard and asks what the tiny silver pedal is, you can tell them its a super boutique OD pedal made by Tibetan monk's or something

GENIUS! I had been thinking of modding the existing box to put a jack in it so the cord would be removable but this is even better. Thanks for the inspiration!

Glad to help. You can get pre-drilled boxes at Pedal Parts Plus (no affiliation). They are offset to make room for the switch. If you are using the existing switch that's the way to go. If not you can just use a SPST Dunlop and squeeze things together nice and tight.
