I work with one group that plays a variety of music genre's. So we may do one song that I'll need to use the Air Brake and the next song I'll need a clean sound. My question is...can I just click the Brake down to "0" to bypass the attenuation and upwards "1-4" for attenuation? Also how in the heck does this thing plug in? Guitar to amp head - Cable from Brake into 4ohm input on amp - Then other Brake cable into speaker cab? Huh

Yeah, the 0 position is thru.
Guitar > Amp > Airbrake > Speaker.
You'll want to have a cable from the speaker out on your amp to the amp in on the airbrake, then a cable from the speaker out on the airbrake to the speaker. If you have a head, that involves two cables. If you have a combo, you can usually reach the Airbrake's speaker out with the cable already on the speaker, if the Airbrake is situated on top of the amp.

Make sure you're using Speaker cables, not instrument cables.
