Hey Guys, I have the Brake Lite in my Maz Jr combo and I love it. Usually use #4 setting at home and #2 for rehearsals and gigs. I'm gonna be recording this Friday and was curious as to whether you guys have used the Brake Lite while recording and had any interesting insights. We are going to be recording a trio live, all in the same room with little isolation. I was planning on using the brakelite on #2 or less, and covering it with pillows and blankets etc., and hearing it mainly through headphones. I know that there have been claims that the BL sounds flubby on level 3-4 with the Maz's natural breakup. Otherwise, are there any other considerations you guys think I should know or keep in mind? --UE

You will not be able to tell it's in the circuit. Seriously, I've been recording with the Airbrake in the circuit since I got my first Z amp - so far no one has said, "Your amp sounds great, but get that Airbrake out of the circuit!" The Brake Lite is no exception - it works GREAT for recording.

Thanks Steve, I kinda figured that. Unless there was gonna be some distant mic'ing from like across the room, I figure there would be no noticeable difference (except to the neighbors;-) This thing really is an amazing invention. Since buying the BL my love of the Maz has increased exponentially.
