It appears, according to its web page, that Guitar Buyer has a review of the Brake Lite in the July 09 issue. If anyone's seen it, how about either a post or a synopsis? Thanks.

Excellent review. I'm sure Brent will be asking for permission to publish it on the Z website, but here are a couple of brief quotes.
"The Brake Lite is impressively transparent, with next to no discernible change in the tone or dynamics of the amp as you reduce volume. At no point does the amp sound neutered or robbed of tone, even at maximum attenuation......It's simple to fit, simple to use and it simply works"
"Gold Stars: - Transparent volume reduction. - Simple to fit & operate. - Neat mounting arrangement. Black Marks: - Limited to 45 watts or under. - Some users will want more than -11db of attenuation.
GB Rating: 5 Stars (or picks ;D) "
Price from Peach in the UK is £145.
My opinion....I bought one and fitted it to my 2 x 10 convertible cab (used with Maz 18 NR head). Excellent piece of kit.

+2 mines in my Galaxie. I want one for my Z-28. I can't say enough for the Brake Lite.

Milky,
Thanks for the review summary. Like the rest of you, I find the BL to be terrific. I was just curious about this review, which is, I think, the first in a publication.

I have one in my MAZ Jr and I love it. At home, it stays on 4 (max attenuation) and I am really able to get the most out of the amp while sitting just a few feet away. Setting 2 or 3 would be fine for most gigs I would play.
