I love my Mini-Z! It's amazing just how good this little amp sounds. You'll be surprised just how much bass response you get out of it. It's amazing how many different sounds you can get out of this amp by using your guitars tone & volume controls. I'm actually going to bring my Mini-Z out on a short tour that I may be playing "fill in" for.
Enjoy it!

These amps are a blast. They may be the most gainy Z that exists.
Look for Brad Paisley's new CD coming out soon. The Mini-Z was used on virtually the entire CD.

I love the fact that I can turn this amp all the way up & "the boss" is not ready to kill me. Wish I could do the same with my other amps...

Really ? I wish that I had seen it. Will it be replayed at some point? I'd like to see it. Do you know if he actually used it during his performance ?

Hey kaseri, I spoke to Brad today and yes the MINI Z was on. He had a feed from his delay to the MINI, if you listen to end of the song you hear the delayed tone only. Brad is using the MINI as filler on most of the tracks of his new CD. His main amp is the RX ES which he used last night along with a new pedal made by Bill Cook, sounded quite good I must say.

Well, I got my Mini yesterday afternoon but I did'nt have alot of time to play with it (I took my kids to go see Star Wars) untill today. WOW this little beast is cool. The motto for the Mini is...[glow=red,2,300] "As close to plugging directly into a tube as your gonna get".[/glow] ROCK ON! Oh and BTW here is a pic of the Mini Z in all its glory!! Hope the Doc doesn't mind, it's a work of art!

Hopefully they will replay the awards. Thanks for the info Doc! Keep an eye on CMT or GAC as one of them said (I do not remember which) that in June they will replay the show.

Will do!
I recorded the CMT awards show yesterday. I'm not sure if what was on yesterday afternoon was the same awards show you were talking about. I believe Brad was singing "mud on the tires" yesterday.
Are we speaking about the same show? What was the name of the awards show that you were referring to myles?

The show was the ACM awards in Las Vegas. It is easy to make the mistake though ... Brad is on a LOT of shows. Mud on the Tires was not performed at the ACMs.

I just got this off of Ebay...I can't wait till it gets here. Anyone else got one? Congrats on the Mini Z Lefty! I could really do with one of those myself... - love to hear about how you get on with it! Is it loud enough for home practice with a (qiuet) drummer ?

It's definitely loud enough for home use, my dog likes to "sing" along with my playing. As for use with a drummer...maybe if he's playing bongos I dunno really I havn't tried it with a drummer...not alot of clean headroom, or headroom for that matter, but it sure is ALOT of fun!

That board is a thing of beauty. Any chance that schematic is available for private educational use? :-)

Somebody tell Buddy to get that little mic out of there and get a nice large diaphram condensor mic!
I'd be happy to loan him a mic and great mic preamp.
