We all go through periods of honeymoon with all our amps. Let me be the first to admit it and with all popularity and talk of the "Remedy" that everyone seems to want right now, myself included, I just want to say that since I have had my RXES I have not found a better amp. I had a Ghia,Z28 and Galaxie also at one stage and currently own an Invasion which is the older Maz SR in a 2x12 combo and nothing new or vintage or any other boutique rig( I've never played a Dumbel) can surpass it. Thanks a million Doc, the RXES is one fantastic piece of equipment, it's just really LOUD!!! That ain't a bad thing by the way Favourite settings into a single weber blue ceramic 50 watter are as follows: Bass - 7 Middle - 4 Treble - 6 Volume- 4 Hi Input Overdose off: Volume wide open Overdose on: Volume wound back to clean up with a of fraction hair or wide open when soloing. Those settings are also great with my Explorer and the front pickup of my rosewood board tele with a fralin steel pole neck pickup. This amp just sings like a lark. (Robert Fripp, eat your heart out ) I can't wipe the smile off my face. Thanks for reading.

I haven't played mine in a while because I've had a string of new amps come home here, but you are right about the RXES being one great amp. Mine got a ton of play time on gigs last year and it never failed to impress me.

Like I said, it may not be the flavour of the day right now with all the new models being released over the last couple of years but nothing beats it. The dynamics and touch sensitivity is just a real thing of beauty. Brad Paisely, Joe Walsh etc. have or still use it to grace large stages all over the world. I'm totally in love with it.

I've been playing my Fender and Marshalls for the past few days, but my RxES is still my #1.
