Which pedal would match better (Hot Cake or Crunch Box) with my rati? Or perhaps a better way to ask would be which is more smooth? Are both gritty or fuzzy? I've never heard either pedal but I think both are suppose to be a good pairing with an el84 amp. Thanks for your help and suggestions!

I have a Crunch Box that I use with mine. It's good for that high-gain Marshall-in-a-box kind of thing, but the pedal does not seem to clean up well when you back off the volume, nor is it all that flexible. It does one thing and it does it well. I have no experience with the Hot Cake, but they've always interested me.
I also use a Zendrive with my Mazerati and it's very, very nice - lots of tonal options in that little box, and very "amplike", as many people have said.
