hi i play a mazerati head with a 2x12 celestion blue cab. I am looking into getting a second amp for my set up and wanted to know what your thoughts were. I have narrowed it down to a Maz 38 NR, Maz 18 NR or a prescription extra strength all with a 2x12 Z best. please give me your advice. thanks jordan

I run my Maz Jr. with my Mazerati sometimes at larger shows. It sounds pretty cool. I usually run the mazerati split from my 112 combo to the Z best cab. I use the outputs from my Line 6 delay unit so it resembles a stereo spread. I love it! 6strang

I have a similar need. I am using a Diamond Memory Lane with a stereo Powerglide tremolo on the way. My Mazerati is great but I would love another Z for a stereo rig. I did like the Maz Jr. when I bought the Mazerati, and it seems like it could be the amp for me as well.
What a wonderful problem to have.

A Z28 or Route 66 would be closer in volume and very different in tone.

There's a Z28 4X10 combo at my local dealer, it's blonde and matches my rati. I am GAS'n real hard about it, so much I have not even played through it. I can't really justify spending that money right now, and I am not a pro.

That's a big heavy amp too!
