hey again people....i was thinking of getting a 4X10 instead of a 212 for my rxjr....(i change my mind quite a bit of course ) and was hoping to hear some feedback of this particular combination.....? i would think it would give me the perfect amount of 3d headroom, and pristine clean sounds as well as the raunch... i was looking for a very warm and round clean tone with my G&L legacy and ASAT semi hollow. i also play a usa Jazzmaster and a hagstrom swede also i was wondering because i have a few other heads i want to run it with, like my fuchs lucky 7 head. the output impedance on that head is only 4 and 8 ohms. Can i get the 410 drz cab as an 8ohm cab? or are they generally 16 ohm? im confused a bit about this? any help?

I'm pretty sure they are 4 ohm cabs. My 2x10 was a loud cab, so the 4x10 should be equaly as nice if not better. It did have a better clean bang than the single 12 had. I personaly play my RxJr though a blue or a EVH 4x12, but I don't think that is the sound your shooting for.

hey dave thanks for the advice. yeah im going to end up with the 410 i think. and i also have a 112 avatar cab with a blue in it already, as well as a fuchs mini 112 with a nice greenback, so i cant wait to try it with those as well. take care brian

I know it's not a Z, but I absolutely love my Mesa 4X10 w/ my RXJr. I replaced the stock speakers (Jensen reissue AlNiCo P10Rs) w/ two Weber AlNiCo Blue Pups and two Weber AlNiCo Silver 10s. I wired them in stereo so I can run all four mono at 4 ohms or stereo at 8 ohms per pair. The 4X10 really does give a full 3D sound. I don't think you could go wrong w/ one of the Z 4X10 cabs.
