Is $1200 too much for a used Mazerati head??

I think they sold for about that new, but as they've been discontinued, it's really up to you as far as what's too much. I certainly don't think it's way out of line though, assuming it's in good condition.

I paid $1295, for a new one from Wilcott (nice guys, fast shipping, no sales tax!). I think if your patient, you'll find one for around $1100. But what's a $100 if it could be 2-3 months before you find one. Watch for sales tax on that red one on ebay right now, in CA, that'd be an additional $95, plus shipping, which would be how much I paid for a new one!

I found one new still in the box for $1199.00 from humbuckermusic.com/ very nice people and easy to deal with. I just couldn't pass it up and besides it feels good being back in the Z family again. I sold my Ghia last year in a moment of craziness and I've been missing it ever since. Wonder if I should change my screen name now?!...LOL!

I caught a "Buy It Now" Ebay seller asleep and got a mint '04 head for $950, after looking patiently for a few months. Bargains do come by from time to time, and this is when patience can pay huge diividends. $1200 is probably not out of line for a mint condition head, but I don't think I'd do it. That's just me, though....ever frugal.

I don't have a cab just yet. I'll be using a Fender 1-12 combo for the time being for my cab. Thinking about getting a Z 2-10 though!
