I've had mine in my Maz Jr for a while now, and it is SO convenient having that thing in there. When I play at home, the wife gets annoyed when stuff starts falling off the walls upstairs, but with the Brake Lite in there, I just twist a couple clicks in and it's perfect for the studio. Then when I take the amp out for a gig, I can twist it right back up to thru, or leave it one click down if it's a quiet one. Totally transparent in all those modes. I'm loving it!

I've used it at a couple of gigs with the Remedy at 1/2 power and by the end of the first set it's on bypass or 1.
It's at all my rehearsals now so I can get those lonnngggg singing tones without a pedal.

I just know that my ears feel much better because of it. Also, I'm starting to like position 3 with my dual humbucker Tele.

I got mine yesterday and had it installed in like 5 minutes tops. What a great devise I am loving it. No doubt set at 3 the Maz Jr sounds perfect. What really impresses me the most is the Brake Light doesn't suck tone like most attenuators do. It was a worth wild investment for me and my ears are also benefiting from this purchase. Highly recommended.

Is it easy to install?
Steve, have you used it with youe ext cab for a low volume stack? (I assume that's possible.)
I think I'm gonna be buying one of these today. Sounds like just about the greatest invention I can think of.

Sounds like just about the greatest invention I can think of. I have used it that way, but you do need to use a Y cord to get both speakers plugged in to it. A second jack might appear on that panel one of these days. It is SO HANDY to have that thing stuck away in the back there - too loud? Just a sec - click - AHHH, all better.

Picked mine up this morning. Wow, what a great innovation! I can say that this is going to totally change the way I use my Maz Jr. Even on level 4 I can't play with both volumes dimed (still too loud for my place) but it will be awesome for band rehearsals and gigs. Right now, I'm using a setting of: Volume dimed, T 11:00, M 11:00, B 3:00, MV 10:00, and Cut at 9:00. On level 4 I still get a real nice warm, full tone with my guitar volume rolled-off just a bit and then a nice lead tone when I max the guitar vol. Then I kick on my Keely TS-9 if I want to jump into the stratosphere.
I'll definitely be selling these (convincing fellow guitarists, not actually selling MINE) to all my buddies. Best $180 I've ever spent (ontop of the $1600 on the maz ;-)
