I am going to be ordering some slip covers for my Z stuff. I want to order one for my ZVerb. Studio Slip Covers has all the dimensions for the most common Dr Z amps and heads but there isn't one yet listed for the ZVerb. If I were to order would I be safe in ordering the size of the Carmen Ghia head? Or is there another amp head that the ZVerb would be the same size as?

Yes I built the Z-Verb on a Ghia Chassis and fit it in a Ghia Head Cab.
A Ghia Slip Cover will fit the Z-Verb.

Well I've been notified already that my studio slips are in production. This lady has been excellent. Notified me to confirm order, confirmed measurements just to be sure, and notified me that they went in to production. So far this has turned out to be a great experience. I know I probably should have kept my money in Canada and gone with the company from Montreal as I've heard they were a good company as well but the studio slips had a much nicer appearance in my opinion. As well Studio slips already had all the measurements for the Z stuff and the other company only had a 1X12 cab measurement listed.

I use the one in Montreal, they're great people and the covers are very, very nicely made. I have 4, and the stangray measurement would be the same as the Mazerati cover I had made, it fits that size of headshell perfectly, I was pretty precise about measuring it. The 112 cab is also my measurement and fits very nicely on the new style cabs and the 112 combos. However, I think the clamshell is simply a better design, I don't think you'll regret it.

Love my clamshells! Very nice. Thats what I ordered for my Ray head and Zverb. Susan said she's never seen them on the Z stuff but gets lots of orders for them. Is that double padded. I got double padded clamshells for the head and reverb but only standard padded and not clamshell for my 2X12 cab. The brown looks nice but I got the black.

I got one set in brown when I got my Stingray and 2x12 open back cab. Then I got a set in black for the Maz Jr combo and 1x12 convertible cab. They are all real nice - double padded on all of them.

Susan B is the best of the best. I'll buy nothing else when it comes to covers. Studio Slips rule! No I'm not related or anything! Just love my covers.

Studio slips are very nice. I have two. But, for the Z-verb I decided to try the Gator bag mentioned by Dave, Bluzsteel. It fits perfectly, and it is maybe more padded than the Studio slips single padding, I don't know about the double padding from SS. The Gator bag was $40, you can get two for the price of a SS Clamshell.

That looks like it stevez. It's the double bass drum pedal bag. Yes the Ghia is the same size as the Z-verb, and maybe the Mini-Z. You can check the Z website for the exact measurements of the Mini Z.
