Paul - great stuff. You're gonna have to get to Ann Arbor to play around with some of my gear. You'd like the z28 through 4x10 or my Remedy through my 4x12s

Great sample of the 28 Paul. I enjoyed that very much. I hate to say it but I am really losing interest in my Maz. This thing just kills! I just bought an OCD and a Cruch Box to cover everything I can imagine. The BB preamp just aint doing it for me anymore. I have yet to get the CB and havent tried the OCD yet on it but I think they will work great with it. I play a littel heavier than what you showed but that's exactly what it sounds like. I use a 1X12 and 2X12 sometimes. Loved the 2X10'S!

Paul, That was the best Z-28 demo I've heard! The Doc ought'a put that on his web site. Very comprehensive... Thanks for the clip.

Thanks for the comments all. I just wanted to capture some real - raw sounds that feature the quality of these amps. I hope to eventually put some clips down with humbuckers etc...

That was awesome.
I miss my Z-28 heaps and regret selling it. The z--28 is one of my all time favourite amps period.

3-3-3 = ;DDoc should just internal hard wire resistors to achieve the famed and coveted 3-3-3 on the Z/28 and finally build that oft rumored "On switch only" amp

Paul, That was well done and is a great representation of the Z-28. I had the pleasure of playing a Z-28 into a Dr Z 4x10 from low to WFO last weekend. Spectacular amp! Cool chops bro!

Great Clip... Tele sounds great. Wouldn;t have a Strat laying around would ya? The beauty is that it sounds even better in real time... Great playing thru a great amp. psj1026- my maz was gettin' pretty lonely as well. It gets more play now, but the 28 still amazes me with how much is possible with just three knobs...

Howdy,
I really like your tone. Big and meaty, but with clarity. My SF Deluxe Reverbs never sounded that good.

Wow! Beautiful sounds- new to the forum here, saving up for my first Z, and after hearing that, it might just have to be a 28...
or a Remedy...
or a Maz Jr... ;D
Thanks for the clip!

Wow, late to the party here but THANKS for this clip. Killer. Very very nice playing too.
Getting ready to return to Z-ville and I'm trying to decide between the Z28 and Maz Jr. Love how this sounds but I'm noticing it's a little hairy even at the lower volume settings. I love (love!) the cranked tones but I'm wondering if it's going to have enough headroom for the clean stuff.
Fantastic!

Thanks Ignatius. I just logged on and saw your post as the clip thread has been dormant since 2009...Ha ha ha. I appreciate it. Pop a 5751 or 12at7 in V1 for less input gain. I am not really playing a lot of country anymore but still love the sounds in the 28!
