Well I installed the Brakelite on the bottom of my Galaxie 2x10 combo. Just used Velcro in case I want to swap it into my 2x10 cab. I will see how this holds up over the next week or so of gigs and let y'all know if the Velcro is a viable option. Also - if it seems to work I will put up a photo. Used a velcro cable strap to keep the cables from getting in the way.
Note on the Brakelite one side has a large area to put Velcro, but the other side does not - so some concerns if it will hold well.

I put a piece of Plywood on mine and drilled for a screw on the little tab so I have three screws securing the wood to it. You could do that and put a big piece of velcro on it.

The velcro is holding up - of course I haven't swapped it out into any other combos or my 2x10 cabinet. Will get some pics up tomorrow. I like it at the bottom of the amp as it is pretty easy to reach over and adjust it. I do like Bluzman's idea of the plywood - but alas I am lazy...if only I could delegate that to someone
