Finally got around to ordering a Zverb. Hopefully it doesn't take as long as an amp to be delivered.

Hey brother. The good folks at Long McWait told me about 2 to 3 weeks to get a Z-Verb, as opposed to 10-12 weeks to get an amp.
They told me this 3 weeks ago when I ordered my Z-Verb. It isn't here yet. Moral of the story: don't trust Long & McWait.
I don't know if its different out east but I usually don't have a long wait for Z stuff. When I ordered the 2X12 cab with Golds it only took about 3-4 weeks. When I ordered my Stangray head it seemed to come in quick at about 7-8 weeks but I waited an additional 2 weeks for the cabinet for some reason.

Oh, I used to live in Southern Ontario myself, for years, and believe me... there is an enormous difference. But that's another story.
I'll bet you'll get yours before I do! And it won't be the good Doctor holding things up.
Best regards, Ward

P.S. Consider all the troubles Basementhack/Keith has had getting his Galaxie, cabinet and other items that have conveniently been shipped to other locations such as Ottawa.
Think about it.

Sonuva gun, you just might!! If one shows up in black with a tan facia instead of grill-cloth, then you'll know it was originally destined for me... and I'll go back to using more reliable US dealers.

hopefully my zverb comes in soon. I just got my fender reverb back from repair a week or so ago. I just got time to plug it in and check it today and after about being on for around 10 minutes it blew up in a puff of smoke. I think I got a lemon. Hopefully I'll have better luck with the zverb.

My cream Z verb just arrived. Cant wait to get home and try it out with my Carmen Ghia. This is probably a stupid question but I am not sure about what kind of cable to use between the amp and the verb. Speaker cable or Guitar cable? The sale team at Peach Guitar in the UK said guitar cable is fine but I'm not convinced. Thanks in advance

I'm still awaiting mine. It's been about 8 or 9 weeks now.
I've been waiting 4 weeks and I've been told now that its on the next shipment out to Long&Mcquade in about a week.

Some L&M shop will ahve a Red Remedy in stock likely at that time........just in case someone's interested. Keith

Thanks for the pics... I must say that the Z-verb is a bit larger than I had thought it would be, but it looks great. Now for some sound clips of that cool verb Cheers, Steve Z

You're gonna love it! It came with a footswitch to switch it off but I don't need that! Stays on all the time, brilliant! ;D

Well, my ZVerb arrived this past Tuesday. It took a while to get it. I think it may have been because I wanted the piping to match my Maz18 head and cabinet. It was well worth the wait. This little unit sounds fantastic! Warm and lush reverb tones. If you're pondering getting one, ponder no longer....order one. You won't be disappointed.
