Could someone measure their amp with an SPL meter at full volume @ 3' away and then do the same with the Brake Lite in the number 4 position? I am on the fence and want to make sure it will drop low enough for late night practice. The Weber Mini MASS has no problem dropping it enough but it sure would be nice to have it mounted inside the amp. Thanks,

You might call Stu Carter at Fat Sound Guitars in Cary, NC. I think i saw somewhere that he had done a bunch of tests like this.

I played a CD through it. I did the same passage for about 2 minutes each and recorded the Hi and Lo numbers of the passage at each setting. The difference is VERY noticeable from bypass to 4 as it should be.
I used a Radio Shack meter. Fast Response and C weighted.
OK... First I did 10 feet 0 89-100 db 1 86-98 db 2 82-95 db 3 79-92 db 4 75-88 db
Second I did 3 feet 0 101-115 db 1 99-114 db 2 97-110 db 3 95-107 db 4 92-104 db

Thanks Bluzman for the data. That gives me a good idea of what to expect.
