you guys scared me with saying how loud it is. My Matchless Clubman is alot louder. I play the Mazerati GT through an Orange cab with 4 Greenbacks. Maybe thats why

Yep the greenbacks are probably the difference.
For comparison, I did a head to head with fjam82's Metro 50 watt plexi thru a Z best (the plexi putting out 60+watts) and the GT was (barely) quieter.
It is dramatically louder than the Maz 38 and my 32 watt Route 66.

I seriously never thought I would read those words about the GT.
You might wanna see an Audiologist.

It also depends on what guitar you play it with as it's *very* sensitive to input signals. My Grosh with Fralin Vintage PU's is tolerable even with a Z-Best...but my Hamer with 7K-ish P90s is loud and humbuckers are This is with a Z-Best though. As has been stated, there's less efficient speaker/cab choices you can use.

Unfortunately the only Z I've got is the Maz 38, however I do have alot of experience with it...dramatically louder than the Maz 38?....yipes! All I ever get is "TURN DOWN" when I'm up against most any amp! haha!
