Bravo!
I like having it hidden. Sometimes you don't want to let people know that you actually could turn down:)

I wonder if it has any internal adjustments for each step?

Great, compact unit for combos! If you were just grabbing an amp and going, this is great!

I love how it looks like a little first-aid kit.
Does it rely on a power source from the amp? What's to stop me from mounting it in an extension cab?
Anyway, at the price of a stompbox, this might be a big hit. Nothing beats power tube distortion...

I see nothing to keep me from mounting one inside my 1x12 extension cabinet. I could still reach it with a cable from my Ghia head. Might kill some of the cabinet liveliness, though.

What are the attenuation steps? 0 = 0 dB 1 = 2 dB 2 = 5 dB 3 = 8 dB 4 = 11 dB DR.Z

I'm glad they're not too much different from the Airbrake's settings. I like the settings on my Airbrake and you can bet if I order a combo, one of these is coming with!

0 = 0 dB 1 = 2 dB 2 = 5 dB 3 = 8 dB 4 = 11 dB How does this compare with the Mini head attenuator?

'available for order'
Does this mean they are shipping? If not, then when? I just laid claim to one my local dealer has on order. Wondering what to expect?

When will it be out? Can I give you 50% down, balance upon delivery? The case looks like plastic. Is it plastic or metal? I have no problem with plastic since the plastic of today can be of extremely hi quality if you decide to go for a higher quality plastic.Since I'm a design guy, my only qualm is the case could be a little bit more stylish.(but it's really a moot point)
Just my 2 cents...
But I LOVE your amps!!

Metal makes the most sense for Dr. Z quality.

That is very cool! But handles only up to 45w?...I need one for my SRZ-65... I was thinking the same thing. I'm lazy (we'll call it efficient) and love the one trip concept of walking into a gig/jam/rehearsal with a guitar over my back, amp in one hand and cab in the other. I'm not a touring musician and don't have roadies so one trip in/out IMHO is purdy darn cool. The brakelite module that mounts inside of a combo or speaker is brilliant! The airbrake is a great product but it's too large to fit into most speaker cabs. What if I'm using an SRZ65 and want to tame the volume for playing with a band, just enough for some nice output tube compression but not to bedroom levels. Would it be OK to use the (very cool) brake lite with an SRZ65 at gigging levels (probably a couple of clicks). I know I want my cake and eat it too but I think the brakelite for this type of scenario would work. Any thoughts? I know there's the legal and warranty issues but I would consider that to be at my own risk.

Can anyone explain this to me... from the web site:
"Please note: the Brake Lite is NOT a stand alone unit and needs to be mounted in a combo for proper operation"
It does not require power that I can tell. Surely it can be mounted in the back of my speaker (open back) enclosures right?

It just doesn't have a back plate or feet so we mentioned that it isn't configured to used as a stand alone. DR.Z
