What speaker(s) work best with a Mazerati? I have a 210 Cab (Z speakers) open back, a 112 cab open back with a blue, and a 112 closed back cab with a greenback. What about your speaker preference? I had a Mazerati 112 combo with a Vintage 30 that I thought sounded ok. Any experience with a 210? I am not looking to play at high volume levels so I won't blow the blue or the greenie!

The Z 10's sound great, as well as most speakers do with the Mazerati!!!!

I switched out the original V30 for an Eminece Tonker in my combo. The V30 worked great for OD pedals, but the Tonker is crisper, louder, and better for clean tones. The Tonker only costs about $95 or so.

I've been running 12" Weber Blue/Silver ceramics with mine, which sounds great but just last week I changed out the Silver and out a Celestion Gold in there...I'll report back and let ya know what that sounds like after my gig tonight.

So how did the Gold go Ronnie, I'm very keen to hear your feedback. The Gold just might be "THE" speaker for the Mazerati since the blue is the perfect match for the Ghia?

I have tried several now in a 1x12 Rati combo with a 1x12 Z cab. The V30 sounded nice. I have a Celestion Gold in the combo and a 50W Weber Blue Dog in the cab and it is incredible. "I can see the Blue, and it's Glorrrious." Had the Gold with a Silver Bell and it was great sounding, but a little dark in the Mazerati. You can't go wrong with the Gold or Weber 50W Blue.

I've had Mazerati head with Old Z 2x10. I though sounded COOL, but a Mazerati combo with 2x12 Cel. Blues turned me on to Z amps.

I liked the Weber Blue the best... Tried a Red Fang for a little while, but the Rati us such a "thick" sounding amp, the RF wasn't the best match for it.... But the Weber Alnici Blue is a perfect match IMO

Update: I am really liking the Celestion Blue. I do use the Celestion Vintage 30 as well when higher volumes are needed. Thanks for the input guys.
