thanks - is the used market pretty active for these right now - that is, would it be hard to sell, if for some strange reason it wasn't my bag? Reason I'm asking is because I would be buying sight-unseen.

This is a specialty amp as well, you could sell it pretty easily here on the forum if the price was right, but elsewhere it might be hard.

This just makes me laugh (in a good way). ;D For those who haven't played a GT, it's every bit as good IMO as some $3,000+ amps.... it's already a steal at the retail price... under $1300 for that much tone should be illegal!

You guys are nuts. It only has two knobs. In all seriousness though, I paid $1050 shipped for mine, and that included the factory hardwood valance, a $200 option.

$1100 seems to be the average,+ shipping.

Thanks guys, this helps a lot. I'm gonna pull the trigger on this one. Sounds like a great amp. I just hope I can get some gain out of it without blowing my band mates off the stage. Thinking about using a Treble booster with it, to goose it a bit when I need high gain tones.

Thinking about using a Treble booster with it, to goose it a bit when I need high gain tones. The GT doesn't really have a "low gain" or "quiet" setting. It goes from off to loud/fully saturated sustain. Unlike a Ghia or standard Mazerati it isn't a gradual increase in volume and there's no clean or quiet available unless you roll way off on the guitar volume.

Yeah, I really don't think you're gonna need any booster with that baby.

Yeah, I really don't think you're gonna need any booster with that baby. Should be here today, I'm stoked. I wonder if I might try a Treble booster so I don't have to crank it to get some luv. ;D

I can't use any boosts or OD's with mine, its just too loud and too much gain. It just feeds back.
