This is my first post as believe it or not I just discovered these amps recently. A local shop has a blond Maz 38 Senior Reverb 2x12 that is in great shape for $1550.00 out the door. I called the closest dealer who is about three hours away and he priced me a new one at $1899.00 with a 4-10 week wait. My question is this, is the used amp a good deal? The savings is only $350.00 and while this is a lot of money, I would not have to wait up to 3 months to get it. This along with the fact that I have no idea how these amps hold their value has me a wondering what to do. What do you guys think?

Welcome to the forum. New Maz 38 Sr. amps with reverb are priced as follows -
MAZ-38 Sr. Head: $1499 MAZ-38 Sr. 1x12 Combo: $1699 MAZ-38 Sr. 2x12 Combo: $1899 MAZ-38 Sr. 2x10 Combo: $1699
Depending on what configuration the amp in question is, it could be a good deal or just a so-so deal. Which configuration is the amp that you are looking at?
