What is the power outlet for on the back of the amp? I've never seen this before? Keith

The Galaxie is so full of mojo, it doesn't even have to be plugged in the wall to wail. Just plug it into itself.. ;D ;D It is a VERY cool feature, similar to what Fender used to do on Twins/Supers, etc. You can power your pedalboard, second amp head, echoplex, or your "light up hula dancer" mascot from it. I have my Galaxie head stacked on top of my Ghia, and am powering the the Ghia from that outlet. It is non-switched, so the Gal doesn't have to be on, just plugged in.

That's what I thought....(a concept no different than home audio gear). But I have never seen the concept on a guitar amp. Thanks Keith

Sorry Richard...I either didn't see your post, or didn't have the amp at the time.

As Tony said, that power outlet is such a great idea, especially for powering a second Z amp. My SRZ-LE also has the outlet.
