Well, more than a month has passed now.
I can easily say this is still my favorite amp ever. I've tried a handful of different speaker combinations, all sound great. 1x12 with a V30, my Z-Best, an open back with a Red Fang and V30, all fantastic.
Since I know these were made with some variations, I am curious of the KT45 owners out there, what tubes you have in yours and what you recommend. Mine has a tube rectifier. My EL34s, and rectifier are all JJ's my 12ax7 is an EH, and my EF86 is a Dario. This is how mine came when I bought it used. I thought about swapping everything with mullards to perhaps bring out its Hiwattish-ness.
Thoughts?

i like the KT-45 best with greenbacks. i have an Avatar 2x12 with Heritage G12H speakers that sounds great with the KT.
as for tubes, i purchased NOS tubes from Mike @ KCA Tubes right after i bought my KT. Tesla (not JJ) EL-34, Tesla (not JJ) 12AX7, and JAN Phillips/Sylvania 5AR4 (mislabeled 5V4GA). the amp had the SS rectifier when I bought the amp new, but i found the SS rectifier made the amp sound very "cold". the Dario EF86 was standard and i have not changed that.
once i got the amp set up with the new tubes i have not changed a thing.
