Had a little liquid courage and opened up my wallet a couple of hours ago. I purchased an Airbrake online, and I'm pretty psyched to try it with my MAZ. I play a lot at home, jam with friends occassionally...and really thought 18 watts could be tamed for home use. Well, it sort of can, but I'm not getting the most out of the amp this way. I figure the Airbrake will get me crunching and keep the neighbors happy.

They work great. The bedroom setting, although a bit compressed, is remarkable for what it does. You won't bother anyone!

Well, I have some hours in on the Air Brake. It may be the smartest gear purchase I've ever made. I can get a good 70's style crunch without pedals, and I can hear every nuance of my playing with this rig (that might not be a good thing though! LOL!). PRS McCarty-->Maz 18 NR (with Air Brake)= LOVE.
