Well the Galaxie had been set aside recently as I went back to the Z28, but after reading all of the different amp sounds Trock (btw-thanks) described on the Galaxie - I had to bring it out for Summerfest. I kind of went with BF Twin settings on Ch 1/JTM 45 on Ch 2 type of setting, but I did up my Ch1 volume a bit so it was getting dirty. Ran it through a 4x10 (2x10 cab and 2x10 CG combo). Anyhow great sound - loved it. Had another musician come up on stage and comment that he had seen Steve Miller use a Dr Z the night before (Stangray) and inquired about Z's amps. We also shot some video which I have to try and match up with the 2 track we grabbed off the board (which needs some audio processing).

Excellent, JD! ++ on Tony's Galaxie clips. I suspect the Galaxie sounds even better through 4 10" and outside where you can really crank it up. The second output jack on the Galaxie is a very nice extra feature. I anxiously await your youtube/soundclip outings. Channel 1 is so nice, isn't it? Maybe you need some humbuckers to go with the tone monster that is channel 2.

JD......My Man... Waaay cool there Bruthr!!! That amp will smoke when rolled up just a little more than you think it needs to be, and control the "hair" with you guitar. It will do the BF/Tweed Super thing in spades. With the tone controls set at the right spot, it's got the JTM covered as well. I would really like to hear what you got out of yours. That tone stack is soooo interactive. Every tiny nudge of any 1 of those 3 knobs gets you somewhere else doesn't it??..... Thx for the post Bro... Jan...thx for the props man. Unnecessary, but thx.
