I just got this and tried it out at home with my Z28 amp, and I am totally impressed. The 'brake allows me to really lay into my amp and get those sweet sounds of pure tubes without the need for an OD or distortion pedal. All the bass and treble are still there. Years ago I had and used an attenuator and I just remember it sucking the life out of the tone of my amps. This AirBrake leaves the sound of my amp totally unaffected. I can't wait to get it on stage, and I'm anxious to try it with my more powerful Marshall heads as well. I've never been able to use my Les Paul because the Paul's hot output pups sound like crap through any OD pedal, so it's always been single coils for me. But now I can maybe get those woman tone classic rock sounds going again with the Marshalls without blasting myself and everybody else off the stage. I can't tell you how many pedals I've bought and sold over the years to do what the AirBrake does so well, but I'm preaching to the choir here I guess.

It's pretty cool, isn't it? I like mine so much I got a second one for my dual head setup. That way I can get both amps to the tones I want when I play live.

Nice rig!! You need to spray paint the AirBrakes red to match the tower of power! They look pretty good as is too. It's just so rare that I buy any guitar gadget that actually does exactly what I hope it will do, so I couldn't help but gas about it. I can't wait to try it out this weekend live as well.
