Say you have a "friend" who is a home player just getting into electric guitars. This "friend" has a Boogie Express 5:25 that he is not happy with. But he can only justify one amp. So he would trade/sell the 5:25.
His interest is in southern rock and country rock.
He has a Les Paul as his only guitar other than the Martin HD-28V.
Would the Mini-Z w/cab be a good choice for this home player?

I played a 5.25 express and was sorely dissapointed with the 5 watt setting. I have a lonestar special that is brilliant on the 5 watt switch. So i guessed it to be tubes. If his sucks, has he tried outing the tubes? Single ended class a is very hard on power tubes. Mine gos great till that tube redplates from being overworked!! But the mini is on my list of must haves

I have to admit, for around the house play time and practicing my Mini Z combo is getting the most play time. It gives the the dynamics and pick attack of the big boys but without the "turn it down already" complaints.
