I played a gig at the hippie bar in CT... My RxJr. with Les Paul. I am loving this amp. I got to open it up with some great players and we did 2 two hour sets and it was the most fun I've had playing out in over a year. My tone made me want to keep playing... "We don't need no break!" Between sets and at the end of the night, I was doing show and tell with the amp and everybody was extremely impressed with the amp and how it sounded. Wicked impressed as we stay in these parts!

One of those nights where everything sounds great. So great you want to give back the money. Well almost.
Do you think it was the RX JR or something else. I'm getting a itchy trigger finger. ;D

It was the guitar AND amp. The RXJr. sounded NASTY SWEET. MV was about 3:30 and the V was 2:00 Bass 9:30 Mid 11:30 Treble 11:45 OD ON and the Airbrake on 3 most of the night. For Pedals I used a Analogman TS9dlx and a KOT V1, Analogman Chorus along with a Keeley Modded Ibanez AD. There was a really nice very natural sounding sustain with the the axe turned up 80% and when I dimed the axe I was getting the perfect amount of that sag that still maintained the volume level. When I hit the pedals it was like a Deja Vu thing and I was forced to smile and I was giggling and having a ball. The band was a 5 piece drums, bass, keys and two guitars and for a great change of pace we were firing on all cylinders!! ALL the other band members had questions about the RXJr. and they have heard it before. Even the kitchen help and wait staff came out front whenever they could! Sometimes we play with percussion instead of a full drum kit so we are usually a lot quieter. It was fun playing louder and nobody complained one bit!

The Rain Desert in Danielson... Exit 91 on 395. Take 6W for 1.5 miles. Take route 12 N off of 6. Then at the light you will see the post office on the corner. Take that street Cottage Street to the right of the post office and the Rain Desert is on the 2nd corner just under the train tracks... "Don't stop on the tracks." "It's the wrong side of the tracks!"
I'm usually there every weekend. The band has never rehearsed (Desert Rain Band). It's a free for all but never wreck! This weekend I'm celebrating my 25th Anniversary with Gail... So I'm not doin the Desert this week.

Last night I played at a Toys for Tots benefit with a band I sat in with a few weeks back. Classic Rock and Allmans etc. That 15 watter did it again.

Thanks!!! She's my ONLY half! My gramps used to say, "You both have to give 110%, so don't go thinking it's a 50/50 deal!"
