So what was the final call on the RXjr's wattage. Last I heard it was 15 watts but that was before release. Anyone know?

WHile I haven't A/B'd it with anything yet, I'm gonna say 15 watts is about right. My Maz Jrs. are a little louder. My Ghia through the same speakers seems to be a little louder. But they are slightly different creatures... I have a book with the formula to checking the voltage at the speaker (or something like that. Been a while since I read it), but I'll try to get around to that. Don't read this wrong... This is a loud amp.
Last night I played it through a Jenkins Red 2x10 ceramic Weber Blue Pup and Silver Ten.... NICE!!!

15 watts was the last number I read. I never knew so few watts could be so loud!

No, it's not that simple, you have different recitfiers, different transformers... I'm not a techie but I haven't heard anyone argue the 15 watt call yet. Maybe an expert will chime in ;D

Doc told me that it is in fact rated at 15 watts.
This is such a wonderful amp. Even with the master volume on full, I can turn the volume up to get that great Rx sound without being deafening. It's the perfect balance of tone and volume. I just love this amp!

I used mine again last night with the 15" Weber with the back open with an ES 335 studio. Plugged into the low input.. Master was about 11:00 and volume was about 10 with the OD on... I went through a TS9 and a DD with just a little delay on it... It sounded really nice.
We were doing a drummer-less gig with a little percussion, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano and bass and 3 and 4 part harmonies. Some folkie and jazzy pop along with some of the countryish Stones and Dylan. Got lots of compliments on the tone and people couldn't believe it's only 15 watts!! It sounded really good. Even at the low volume the RxJr. was very thick. I'm really liking this rig!

Paul T:
karma to ya just because I'm stoked you love your new rig. I'm excited to hear it if we can ever find time to get together. I have been thinking about grabbing one of these little guys too. I'm torn between it, the MazGT and an RXeS. I need to hear all of them in the same room but I don't know when that will ever happen.
