Here's my Invasion. I bought the amp as a combo a few months back. It was in pretty rough shape. I decided to try something different and had a local builder convert it to a head/cab for me. His name is John Mergili. He used to work at Kendrick when they were here in Austin. Now he does his own thing. His own amps are quite beautiful. His site is here www.mergili.comThe amp sounds as good as it looks. It's the amp I will never sell. The cab has the original speakers from the amp. It's so warm and it chimes for days.

That is one nice looking amp. I would love to send him my Mini combo and have it put into a 1X12 combo. Have to start saving.

That might be the first combo to head conversion that I've seen, and what a nice job. I like it. And Oldster, I thought that you were trying to sell or trade that mini combo for a Ghia?

She's a beauty! You gotta love the flexibilty a head offers with different cabinet combinations as well.
Congrats on a fine amp!

Here's the '04 MAZ 38 I use to own. It had Celestion, Blues and an effects loop. I only play at home and the amp was just too much for the house! I also no longer own the '77 Fender, Deluxe Reverb. The '56 Fender, Princeton isn't going anywhere! Sprinter 92

Yeah, Mike, all my others Z's (except Rt 66) are/have always been combos..... So I am unsure about which option to go with for additional cabs. Z-Best, Open back 2 x 12, or just another convertible cab.....

WOW Lee.....you didn't say you were getting a Remedy AND a 38! Nice looking set of red heads there. That is a tough decision about the cab's. Can't go wrong with any combination.... but the 2...( or 3 ;D ) convertible cabs will be easier to move.

This is my MAZ 38 Sr head. I had to have the cabinet custom made, as a Z-Best is just way too expensive to send to Australia from the US. This cab has two Celestion 12" Golds mono/stereo and it is ported. I have the Air Brake connected too.
